Whoever did brakes on this car before me did not line up the two pilot holes so I cannot pop it off in the ways commonly suggested. I have beat on this a million different ways with no luck, it is stuck on here. What else can I do that hasn't been referred to in other threads to get this rotor free?
Can't see enough of the rotor in your pics but aren't some of the holes in your rotor threaded? They don't screw into the hub. That is so you can put 2 screws in it. One at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock and take turns screwing them in until the rotor breaks free.
+1 on the hammer, if you are CERTAIN that the parking brake is released - and I mean that you have turned the adjusters to slack - then beat it and it'll come off - I don't mean too much, a few good hits should be all you need.
I've had mine stuck a few times. Like they said, just first spray some wd-40 around the center hole for the hub trying to get some to go inbetween, wait a few minutes and just slam the rotor with a sledge right in the hub area of the rotor to shock the bond. Hell if your tossing the rotors then hit them anywhere you must to get them to break free. Sometimes a rubber mallet just doesn't do the trick...
I'll go back to the hammer method and report back. Thanks! I know the parking brake is good because the PS side came off no issues. Just the DS side giving me grief.
