I purchased my 05 GS300 about 6 months ago. Shortly after I got it I noticed that the driver's side mirror had a small blob where the electrochromatic coating seems to be gone, rest of the mirror dims fine. I think that the blob of lost coating may be growing a little bit.

Question, is the coating able to be re-applied, or does it require getting a whole new mirror?
