Default R154 Conversion

Hey guys, I've looked but haven't been able to find any info on making our cars manual. I'm interested in installing the r154 transmission. I know it has been done. Any help would be great!

Pedals needed from an IS300/SC300/Supra along with matching clutch master cylinder or use Wilwood Pedals/CMC

Shifter extension needs to be 3.5 inches

Needs a 3.7 rear end (Supra TT Auto or Aristo V300 diffs will work)

custom driveshaft

good clutch/slave cylinder/clutch line (all r154)

custom shifter boot

Yeah, you'll have codes for the automatic transmission solenoids, etc. You will also need to run a new VSS.

But who gives a F? I can live with that trade off if I can continue to rip through gears in a GS.

BTW, the IS300 pedals fit the best. The SC and Supra Pedal are *slightly* crooked compared to the brake pedal.

Also, it is a major pain in the rear end to make room for the Clutch Master Cylinder. The GINORMOUS brake booster our cars come with take up A LOT of room and there are a lot of connectors/electronics clutering the area. Some things might need relocating.

I have heard of people using tiny little Honda CMCs to get the job done.

IMO, the best option would be to find a custom floor mount clutch/brake pedal setup (from Wilwood or Titan) that have built in clutch and brake master cylinders.

I'm not messing around with the foot brake since I am not a drifter. But for those who want to convert to a hand brake system, will need a handle/cable from the SC300.
