I'll take a 400 over a 45 all day I picked a gs430 over a fx45 due to the oil consumption so go figure.

Confirmed - I have spoken with some Infiniti owners & did some research their vehicles are notorious for oil burning.

No wonder on my last FX oil change a few weeks back only about 3 quarters came out.

You are better off going with the GS430

lol so true, I test drove a FX before I got the 430 and I was coming from a GS3 and I still stayed in the GS family and got the 430 cuz the FX infiniti drives and feels like a cheap piece of crap go kart. Its fast and noisy and thats all thats good about it. The newer Ms are a little better, but still harsh riding crap compared to a GS, but to eaches own. Some people like that feel...

I did decide to keep my 400. I was very tempted to make the switch though. With the new tranny my car does run a lot better, but I still seem to be having some electrical issues.

Wow GREAT decision lol. If your having electric issues start by cleaning and re tightening your battery terminals and posts. It makes a world of a difference. I just did it and my car feels like a whole new car and everything that's electric works better lien the heated seats. What type of issues exactly are you having?

My steering wheel tilt doesn't work occasionally, yesterday my console screen went blank for about a half an hour. My car starts weird at times. Most of it happened in the morning, but it can be sporadic. I started a thread about it and it goes into more detail:
