Default Frame rumors/questions

So ive been looking for a new rear sub frame (crossmember, differential cradle ect.) lots of shops called it different things. there are several junk yards here in Utah but none seem to have a 2nd gen GS except a few that were so far picked apart and wanted a lot of money just to get in.

ive come to looking on line and there is a few here and there, but ive seen several IS and SC frames as well and i came a cross one pick and pull that did have a GS subframe but it was bent they stated that some models of the IS and SC are the exact same. my question is if anyone can confirm this? I only care because a lot of these frames are a few hundred dollars cheaper! and my only conclusion as to why is because there seems to be more of these models totaled than GSs? but i dont know for sure?

the guy said it was these years:
LEXUS SC430 02-10:
GS 98-05:
IS 01-05

There are simply less wrecked 2GS cars out there. I cannot speak about the interchange but there are guys in the classified section who will have the parts.

I cannot see that part being worth too much as it hardy gets sold I'd think - if the car is bad enough to need that - it's probably totaled.

What's wrong with yours?

OK I seriously doubt that the 1IS has the same rear subframe because the diff is certainly different.

My GS before I owned it was hit on the right side and I had it inspected by a shop that said everything was fine and it's been aligned only twice and both times the mechanic can't align the right rear tire because the subframe is bent.

Mechanic said it won't do to much to the car and it won't get worse but my right rear is a little angled and my tires ware a lot faster on the right side almost twice as fast

Ad that's what I'm trying I figure out if the SC is interchangeable because it's significantly cheaper than a GS crossmember

I've got two, if you still need one. Both from cars hit in the front.

According to Hollander, the IS is different, but the SC430 from 02-10 does interchange. Odd because you would think that a convertible should have a beefier subframe.

What's your zip and I'll get a price with shipping to you. Also, is there a business address we can ship to, or just your home address? That will affect the cost of shipping.

And that's what I wondered too, if I could just get like an adjustable lower control arm? The tech said its bent back to where a body shop will have to drill a hole and put a rod through it. Cheapest quote was like $800-1000 to do that. Personally I haven't seen it so idk what I can do.
