thats normal bro, dont feel too bad, be happy your not in NYC, with my 430 I get about 150-180 miles per tank with just city driving. If I mix some highway in there ill be lucky to get 200. If I idle alot I get even less then 150. this car was definitely NOT built to sip gas, when it came out gas was only like $1.50 a gallon so imagine. MAN DO I MISS THOSE PRE 9/11 GAS PRICE DAYS before the oil company crooks took control of the middle east and started milking us for every cent on gas prices!

Has any of you guys had a issue with the fuel gauge? Once I ran out of gas at about 1/4 tank left. So basically for the last year I've been filling up before if hits the 1/4 mark.

Make sure that the right fuel pump is in the vehicle.

I have a 98 gs400. I get about 200 at the half mark.

Also depends on your rims and tires. For example: the wider the tires the worse gas mileage you will get because there is more drag. Also, could be that x pipe your running as it ruins the low end torque in our cars. As said earlier make sure you have the right fuel pump in the car. You can also try seafoaming the car.

All you lucky bastards not living in NYC where city driving consists of stopping every 10 seconds at a stop sign or light. I'm so jealous of that MPG my wallet is drooling

i usually get about 140 miles when needle hits the halfway mark and 240 when the gas light comes on. Averaging about 14.1 MPG. I am mostly city, and some highway.

Does anybody calculate mpg the old fashioned way, by dividing miles driven per gallon used anymore? This deal of I drove 200 miles with unknown amount of fuel used is as inaccurate as uncle Miltie's Pawn Shop's accounting (fictitious name but you get the idea).
