Unhappy It had to happen eventually

I have joined the 'breaking in' club.
This happened saturday morning. I heard the alarm but thought it couldn't be my car, well it was lol.

I guess it was mostly my fault for leaving laptops in the car. Goddamn junkies.
Apparently they used scissors to break the glass. You can see how they're bent from hitting the car.

Insurance is a f'ing good thing in situations like this.

Definitely not a good feeling as we all had some type of experience with vandalism in our day... This has been happening to frequently lately with Lexus... Wasn't there a few other incidents lately?

No tints yet.
There was another car also that had been broken into.

I think that if the car would've been empty the Lexus badge would've been one major reason not to break in.
There were bunch of ****ty cars with no alarms at the same parking lot so the fact that it had laptops in it was the reason it got broken into.

Edit: Luckily they didn't find the button for the trunk (or they were just in a hurry). There would've been all kinds of things to steal.
Dumb asses.

Yeah my bad. I'm moving with my gf and we decided to leave some of the stuff temporarily in the car.
Normally there's nothing in my car that shouldn't be there.

Sorry to hear that man... Those loser prolly stole your laptop cause they have no life and wanted to watch some ****. Lol jk.it really is a bad feeling. I had something similar happen to me at my old apartment complex when I was 16, I had 2 kicker cvx's 2 alpine amps and my flip out stolen while I was sleeping. They also took my iPod touch in my glove and my friend just happened to leave his sidekick phone(back when they were cool) in the center console. It was my first system ever and the worst part was that I didn't even get to install it. Still feels like it happened yesterday.

I don't mind the stuff that he/she/they got (insurance) but I'm just pissed because this makes my everyday life a little more complicated when I don't have my car.
I have to take the f'ing bus to work etc. and I hate buses.

One of the most bizarre things that was taken was the cars registration and manual (they were inside the leather Lexus cover) and my gf's V-shaped magazine stand like this:

So yeah, he/she/they must have been high or something.

Now they know where you live and your details - watch out!

And I keep a towel in my car for just those occasions when you need to hide any valuables.

Yea, you'd be amazed on how many people ignore car alarms. We hear it and say exactly what you said, "it's not my car." We all do it. I try to make it a habit to always look when I hear an alarm that sounds similar to mine.

Uggggg, dang that suxs man. Sorry it happened to you.
Now if you put an insurance claim in you will have an incident reported to CarFax which may or may not affect you at resale. You know how car shoppers always looking for clean CarFax reports on a car.
Good luck.

Ouch. Certainly a minor setback, but like you mentioned, insurance will prevail.
