Default HELP! Spare key Immobilized my car

So last night i had to use my spare key to drive 70miles home, manually unlocked the car and started up fine like it was the original key. Made it home no problem but this morning the car won't start. I then use the original key still same issue. Please help me figure this out. below are pics and video of the situation. Thanks in advance!

This is a video of me trying to crank the car with the original key, same thing happens with the spare.

this light is blinking, i believe this is the sign of the ecu immobilized?

Stupid spare key i used

It sounds like the battery doesn't have enough charge to crank the engine over. Charge it and try again.

You think its the battery? I swear this happened directly after using the spare key to drive home. The battery was replaced not too long ago. The blinking security light makes me believe this was due to using the spare, but i'll look into the batter thanks.

Anyone else?

well, if you have another car or a buddy, just attach their car with jumper cables first, and then give it a try. It'll let you know if you're on the right track or not right there.

Once you rule about the battery, if it still doesn't crank, check the starter relay. If that's ok or you replace it and it still doesn't crank check the neutral safety switch. Put the car in neutral, if it cranks in neutral but not in park then it's the neutral safety switch. If it still doesn't crank I'd look to the starter next. I just don't see the spare key causing the ecu to be immobilized so that you can't use the master key. I think its coincidence that you used the spare key and then the car stopped starting.

Sure looks like a battery problem. I mean, the immo would not let you start the car, but it would turn over regardless.

Yes - that is a dead battery - you can hear the starter struggling.

And Yes, I can confirm that the engine will still crank over if the immobilizer is activated.

Perhaps its the chip inside your spare key(?).
Is your spare key the one that came with your car or did you have it made by a locksmith instead of the dealer??
Maybe the battery inside your spare key not transponding the signal(?)

Report back when you figure this out. Thanks.

Try this, lock all your doors then lock unlock your driver door with the spare key then start, when ever I try to start my car by unlocking the passenger side it won't start, but will with the driver side.
