Runs rough on initial start-up after resetting ECU
I've been experiencing this for quite some time now. Only on initial start-up when I reset the ECU (disconnecting battery for at least 1 hour), my car starts up fine but runs rough. The RPMs are where they should be like a usual cold start, but I can feel the engine "stumble" and I can feel the whole car shaking. After it warms up, it smooths out and runs perfectly. Only right after I reset it does the car start up like this and is normal every time. Any ideas what this can be? I have the K&N FIPK if this helps. Could it be the MAF on its way out? In addition, the car is throwing a p0171 code.
