Mine started when cold having a vibration and it typically went away, but one day it got bad and didn't want to go away, it got REAL bad, nothing feeling in the brakes, but I did a hard brake and it got better till I hit the brakes again (I drive a lot of rural driving). It was the left front caliper, one of the 2 pistons seized up. I replaced caliper and the long time (over a year), the vibe was completely gone.

I talked my friend at Lexus and he said those calipers are REAL common to seize up one piston, even today he said he still does at least 1 of those calipers a week on a 2GS.
