Default Lock Actuator Cables

I changed out the lock actuators on my 2001 GS300 and the black cable end that has the threaded looking end broke right where the threaded part meets the thicker non threaded part. I tried super glue and tape but it just wont hold. Is there a way to buy just the cable and not the entire actuator?

You could use a paperclip to hold together.

Alright. I was able to finally get out there and do some work. The paperclip trick worked. Just for safe measure, I added shrink wrap around everything including the paperclip. I now have a secondary problem that I thought was related (could have been partly related) but it may not be. When I open the door from the inside, I can't close it without pulling the outside handle. It seems as thought the lock mechanism is not "resetting" after pulling the inside handle. Thoughts???
