So last night I removed my throttle body and my intake manifold to replace valve cover gaskets. This was a fail because the valve covers would not come off. So I put everything back and everything was good my car turned on like normal and everything. This morning I drove about 3 miles and my check engine light came on. Aswell as my VSC lights. What could have gone wrong and is this a very serious problem?

My real question is, is it possible that I didn't connect something all the way or that I might have bumped into a wiring harness. I just wouldn't want to replace the sensor if it's not necessary .

Did you replace the intake manifold gasket ? Manifold gaskets should be replaced every time you take the manifold off, as far as I know. They don't seal as well the second time around. If it's leaking that might be your problem. On the other hand I think it's the code for bank 1 Oxygen sensor, I think it might act up with a manifold gasket leak, but I stand to be corrected on that one.
