TOOK IT TO A LOCAL KEY CUTTER HE CUT THE BLANK KEY FOR $10..

ITS BEEN 4 MONTHS ALREADY AND THE KEY WORKS GREAT WITH NO PROBLEMS,
THE CHIP IN THE FACTORY FITS RIGHT IN THE BLABK FLIP OUT KEY SHELL....

I've seen a couple other threads on this with hit or miss results, the chip distance from the ignition was the common problem and usually because of the key length. Did they shorten the key or is that the length it came at?

the blade has to be cut the same lenght as the oem.
the key guy did that for me as well, my key doesnt get in the way of anything.
