If you could get those fenders a smooth look theyd be nice. Seeing the rivets makes it look rather funny. The top green/blue car is very close to looking good

needs a little work but I can picture it. The rear needs work to be 2 pieces to separate the rear bumper from the QP. Same with the front fender, it looks funny with the chrome trim on the door but one piece on the fender.

I agree with speedaddic, the front/rear overs need to be seperated to flow with the chrome trim... or another option would be to completely remove the chrome and have them filled in (although it'd need to be accomplished on the front/rear bumpers as well).

I agree the flares need to be separated in 3 parts in the rear. Door, quarter panel, and bumper. At the front it's a 2 piece: front bumper, and fender. I also think that in the rear the gender would flow better if it had a bigger arc. Like if you look at the sti they followed the flow of the body and due to that they made wider flares. I think the front fenders are easier to design than the rear for this car. It has a long quarter panel and the bumper is much lower. I have been looking at the rocket bunny's for the green Toyota because it also has a low bumper so I can get an idea of how to mold the rear flares.

The Toyota Corolla has the rear bumper almost like the gs300, so I think it would be a better reference point for design.

This.......

Not a fan at all....looks like some backwoods work done to the car. Smooth the flares out and blend them into the body panels and MAYBE it'll look good. Still doesn't work though imo, as the car doesn't have that natural bulk, so it'd remind me of a woman body builder, disproportionate X(.

Funny comparison about a woman body builder I can see what you mean. The Corolla doesnt have bulky rear panels like the Subaru does. But if done right it can look great. If you look at a Nissan Silvia(240sx) they are pretty straight lines too but the Rocket Bunny flares are well designed to make it look good. So, its going to be a work in progress to get it right.

My problem with is that the chrome treat lines are not followed. The fronts 40mm cost 88000 Yen which converts to $748 dollars not sure for how much Elite Auto Style will sell them for. The tears 60mm are 108000 yen which converts to $918. This is all without tax and import cost.

I don't get it... it seems as if when they made these, having them flow with the stock body lines was an afterthought. If you look at the version for the Crown, the fenders have provisions that make them flow with the side trim.

I found this on the web, I like the duck tail. No over fender but it gives a good idea of half of what a rocket bunny gs2 would look like
