Default I'm sorry guys quick question regarding LS400 calipers SS lines

Alright so I'm reading a bunch of mixed answers here, and some I don't like... For example, I'm looking for SS brake likes for my GS for the LS400 front calipers and just GS rears. What's the ultimate and final answer here, do I purchase LS400 lines up front? Or GS? Because the answers I didn't like were "just get Gs, they will require a little modification but..." But what? What the hell's that mean modification I don't want to touch these lines what so ever lol besides putting them on, others saying that run LS400 but they are a PITA, anyone chime in WITH experience please, not to be rude but I'd prefer first handers.... I asked the suppliers lol and they didn't even know the answer... Thanks guys

When I installed my LS front caliper I used the oem GS brake lines without any mods. So that means that if you get the front ss brake lines for a GS it will work without mods. Hope this answers ur questions.

They don't require any modification... I'm running a GS430 Goodridge SS kit with LS400 fronts and GS430 rears.

Okay but what SS lines did you get for your front? Ones for a GS430 to work with your LS400 calipers? Or LS400 SS lines to go with your LS400 calipers? You get me?

Yup, I'm running GS stainless lines with LS400 calipers as well, no issues or modification required unless I'm really forgetting something, 99% sure they bolted right up.

lolwut.

it's a GS430 goodridge kit...
which matches to the LS400...
they don't require modification...

to be extra crystal clear, it sounds like he used the SS kit designed for the car itself, not for the calipers, and he seems to have not made any modifications to get the parts to work together.

good luck.

you make it sound like it's so unbelievable. it's not rocket science...they're just steel-braided brake lines with banjo fitting on one end and threaded fitting on the other.

Yeah, just to be clear (even though I thought I was perfectly clear), I'm running a STRICTLY GS300/400/430 Goodridge SS brake line kit, made STRICTLY for a 2GS with stock calipers... the kit for the GS300/400/430 fits the LS400 front calipers without ANY form of modification.

Here, I'll do you one extra and forward you the link to the exact one I purchased:

I'm sorry bro, but you seem to be the only one I'm not understanding, do me a favor could you just order em for me? And when they get here install em? That would be a big help bud, just as you've been in here. Appreciate it, really.
