Recently bought a 99 GS300, and the rear view mirror fell down as soon as I got it home. I bought the mounting kit for it but couldn't get to fit properly. I eventually found out the windshield bracket (metal button mounted on windshield) wasn't for it. After researching, I'm pretty sure it's for an Aristo (flat with a button hole at top). So I bought a Spacer kit that fit the Aristo windshield bracket but now it wont fit the mirror assembly. I already bought the auto dimming with compass mirror and really dont want to risk removing the windshield bracket from the windshield (razor blade and heat gun) Is there a hybrid spacer available? One that will fit a GS mirror AND the flat type Aristo windshield bracket? I

With all the work you're doing, I would just buy the OEM bracket for the 2GS
