Creaking noise from front end!

They are your Lower Ball Joints, like everyone else has said. See the Suspension Blog here. There is a post explaining the problem clearly. And of course, do not drive the car. Your entire rim can most definitely come off.

Lower control arm no. 2 (caster rods) bushings always go bad very easy to check. They start tearing around here within 50k miles

Defintley your lower ball joints, I've had that creaking clunking noise twice since i've owned my GS and each time replacing the lower ball joints god rid of the sound. This time I upgraded to moog ball joints so i'm expecting them to last longer, so far I can defintley say they make the car feel firmer and more solid. I would also do the tie rods to while your at it.
