Check if the ecu is the same. I have ecu and spare keys if you are shopping. Too lazy to post it for sale. I hope it's just an engine swap. The 430 does well with the ppe headers. GL...crossing fingers for you.

Why not just get a lower mileage GS? That's a good amount of mileage on all body components. Sell yours, add a $4k more and get a much lower mileage GS. By the time you by the engine, tranny and pay for uninstall and install of new I would think you would be spending at least $2500. So, $1500 more you can start with a newer platform.

Just a thought.

well, he can get suspension components from figs and it'll be all good. The 430 engine is super reliable... The only problem I've ever had was a loose clamp on the radiator hoses (invest in new clamps;cheap). I drove it at a good rate with water gushing out and temp rising...did not detect any leakage with chemical tests.

you need to put PPE headers on those...it's worth it.
