Anyone...
Is my mechanic selling me a bill of goods here? Is there such a seal??
He resealed my transmission pan a few weeks back and I noticed some slight leakage in the last few days. I thought it might be the pan again, but was told otherwise (shift shaft seal).
Cheers-
Doug

Makes me wonder if I am getting the run around then. I am looking for a new mechanic but if his initial work was faulty, it was warranted. This just seems a little fishy to me. Thanks Justin.

I'm currently in the same boat as you; both my pan and shift seal are leaking and I can't seem to find the seal on Sewell's diagram... Would you or anyone happen to know the part number?

I know this post is super old, but I was recently told I have a leak and need to replace mine as well. I have searched for videos or post about it and this is the only one that I see related to a lexus. Does anybody know if this could be a DIY or is it too involved for an average car skills person. Also if anyone has a direction to where I can find a video or even know where this seal is located(lololol)
