Late to this post and im sure the wife has the final veto, but babies are fine with droning noises if they are in the car. It helps drown out everything else and puts them to sleep.
It is easier to get a baby to sleep in a droning bumpy car then a quiet smooth ls430. The biggest seller of noise generators is for babies

Anyway not a battle worth fighting but just thought you should know.

I never had a part number because I went to Master Muffler and asked for the 40 series flowmaster's.
