there are hid bulbs that have different plugs on them. i see them on ebay and other sites.

the length of the bulb that works well with that projector is another story. a lot of times the ebay projectors are dog **** though. but ive seen success stories here and there. just gotta research it really

Anyway, thanks for the info about the Denso ballasts. The way you made it sound was that they were potted from the factory, so sorry if it was a bad interpretation on my part.
No problem man. No. Oem ballast is potted. All of them are not water proof thus the reason why they are usually placed inside or under the headlight where min water will hit it.
