Love the tone of the the G35 exhaust.. was wondering if anyone replaced there mufflers on a GS300 with G35 mufflers and got a similar tone? Thanks!

Hate to break it to you but unfortunately the sound created by G35 and 350Z is harmonically produced by the engine and not the exhaust system alone. So even if you were able to somehow fit the exhaust system it wouldn't give you the same note. The 2jzge sounds nice with the right exhaust set up though so i'd just look into getting a nice set-up for the gs300.

^Yup. That sound cannot be imitated. Not even close. I once spent a year trying to replicate the sound my G35 makes to no avail. It's one of those, "factory induced" sounds that no one can mimic except for the guys at the factory.
