They look nice. One thing I never understood is why people stagger wheels off like that. The rears are legit. I'd rebarrel the fronts. But either way they are a great looking set of high quality wheels.

I propably go with Nankang NS-20's.
215/35 front and 245/35 rear. I can't find any smaller tires for the fronts. I guess there aren't?

I guess stagger means that you have narrow wheels and low offset?

Those tire sizes should work perfect..odd how tiny the fronts will be...i would def get some 20mm spacers to not make them look so tiny and sunk in compared to the rear

That says the stock ET is 50. So they'd come 40mm outwards if that's the case. You want me to add another 20mm to that?
I have now stock 17's and I have no clue what the ET is on them. All I know is that they're 8" wide.

Does those rear wheels need rolled fenders to make them fit? I'm fine with shaving but I wouldn't want to roll.
Fronts should go just fine as it is, right?
according to the specs you gave us the fronts will poke 52mm more in the front
and will poke 80mm more in the rear compared to the stock wheels according to willtheyfit.com
unless u are planning to only poke in the rear..the fronts will look sunk
i ran an 18x8.5+15 up front and was very disappointing with the fitment compared to the rear 9.5+15
those kind of staggered setups are only good looking on exotics like Porsche/Ferrari

obviously this isnt a lexus but im sure this guy wishes hed have gotten a more aggressive front setup

18x8.5/11

just some food for thought depending on the look you are going for

Obviously I wouldn't compare the two.

Just by calculating (yeah, I've not testfitted them yet) they shouldn't be that sunk. Not even close.

But I'll see it when I get them on and I'll go on from there. Rears are the main concern now.
Thanks for your input.

Rims and tires were taken to a local tireshop today and they couldn't get the 245/35's to stay on the rear wheels. **** I'm pissed right now.

They said it has something to do with the surface of the wheels barrel. They were able to get them on but they said that if I'd do an aggressive turn the tire could pop off.

I bought Nankang NS-20 tires 'cause I thought that's what most of the guys use who do this tire stretching thing.

Does it matter if I have the wheel protector or not on the tire? I don't have them on those tires.
Does the NS-2's stretch better than the NS-20?

Should I just order wider tires or could there be a way to get them to fit?

I have NS-20's. 235/35 on a 9.5 and 255/35 on an 11. The rears did leak a little during the winter but other than that no problems. Once you get to 245/35's on 11's you need people that know what they are doing. You have to understand that people love to show off those setups but don't like to post when they have de-beads or trouble mounting.

you must tell them to keep them at AT LEAST 40 psi and they can put a bead sealer on also if needed
i put a 225 on a 10.5 that never had one issue for almost a year of having them and drifting here and there
SOME wheels dont have the proper shape for stretched tires though..my friend had the same issue with his CCWs

I might end up with 265/30 to be sure. At that size it's the same what tire it is 'cause it'll most likely stretch nicely.
The NS-20's just wouldn't stretch enough at 245/35. I'd like to know what people do to them to make them stretch and stay on because it looked like mission impossible.

I went to another place yesterday and they were a failure also.
What they did succeed though was slicing one of my tires when mounting it and bending my inner lip when unmounting the tire.

So I'm pretty much more pissed right now than I have been in a very very long time.
Everything went to **** yesterday.

People buy nankangs because they are cheap. It doesn't make sense to go stupid low on the quality of tire on a high quality wheel. The rim protector is pointless and unnecessary. Your 245s are easy to mount. I personally mounted my 245s on an 18X11 and a 285 on an 18X13 on my wheels. It's real easy. The Nankang probably has a thin bead.

I finally got all tires installed and test fitted them yesterday.

As it turned out, the fronts aren't sunk at all. Atleast at stock height.

Left rear tire was letting air out from where the dic*head guy bent the rim. I thought it wouldn't matter but apparently it was big enough dent to not hold the air in.
I'm glad I test fitted them so that I know it next summer when I'm planning on installing these along with BC coils.

What are you going to do about the bend in the rim? Are they covering costs of the repair?
