Default Tint decision!

Hey guys, i know it's a little bit too early for me to be asking about this and i know this should be one of the last things i should be doing to my car but i'm just planning everything out before i start buying stuff for the car. So if you guys can help a fellow 2GS owner/ lexus member...

What do you think about Llumar air blue 80, or i was thinking regular 20% tint on a SILVER gs430?

Only reason why i'm asking is because i've never seen a llumair blue tint on a silver GS Appreciate it!

I think blue tint only looks good on white cars. I would stick w black tint, especially on a silver vehicle.

Yeah... Blue tint doesn't look good on any car unless you have a civic Nd you have it riced out. My opinion is just go normal nothing to crazy

It doesn't look too bad on our rides. If yer looking for a subtle "mercedes" type look, then imo, it's close enough. Tiger4life and LuxuryGS3 (and maybe a few more members) both have that tint if u wanna see it on a GS. I stuck wit limo since it can get real hot in Tucson. Either way will look alright, but because you're in Cali, the air 80 maybe cheaper in the long run (less tickets!)

Thanks for the input guys! yeah i was trying to go for the mercedes look. If anyone had a silver GS with the tint, that'd be great but other than that, i guess llumar air blue tint only looks good on black or white GS's..

I have it. It only really looks blue if it's overcast. When the sun is out, it's pretty clear. I don't like the look of tint so I got it since it's the clearest you're going to get with so much heat rejection.

Exactly. The blue really only pops under certain lighting. Very similar to the tempered tinted glass you see on Euro cars. I love it. It does a tremendous job at blocking out heat. Dark tent just looks ghetto imo. The only downside is its cost. Its twice as much as regular tint. It also looks great on red cars. My buddy had it done on his 911 and it looks ****.

It blocks the same amount of heat as limo tint except i can see at night and don't have to worry about cops harassing me.

if i was to do it over again I would definitely consider the Llumar air after seeing tiger4life's car. I think it looks great on our cars and from what i've read it's just as functional as black tint.

Looks great, but the reason I didn't go with this is because I don't like the idea of everyone being able to see directly in my car.
