Couple of days ago I turned my car on. 99 gs300. the car started making this annoying sound and it wont turn off , also the ebrake, abs, and vsc lights came on. The brake was not working properly. i had to put force on the brake to stop it. So I took it to the shop, they scanned it and these came on C0256 - SRL circuit open, C1241 -low battery or very high battery, C1251- pump motor locked, C1252 - hydro boost pump motor fault, C1256- accumulator pressure low, C1233- something sensor circuit open/ shotrt, and C1223- ABS system fault. The shop said they dont really know whats wrong with it, telling me to bring it to the dealership and I did. On the way there all the lights turned off and the brake were working again. So I thought it was just a short some where then after a couple of days it happened again. Then it went off again and on, now its just the lights that stay on and the brake isnt working properly. So I was wondering what I should check out to see whats wrong with it?

I remember another member had issues with a bunch of codes popping up when he installed a remote start and it turned out to be the battery... not very helpful, but a good place to check just in case.

hows the alternator, mine went bad and caused vsc abs vsc off to come on.

its good. i took out the battery earlier and it was still on. whats the chances of the problem cause by the hydro boost pump?
