Not really. People on CL are typically cheap... and the bozo on ebay thats been selling his saddle seats for the last 3-4 yrs for over 1200$ isn't moving very many of his SD parts. There's a few sellers on ebay that are marking up their values, fact of the matter is, money talks. And people are the source of that money...

I parted out two GS' way back. It was always a fight over chump change. You buy it, you're sitting on it. Might as well drive it!

The downside of any car not in this decade my friend....

It's a TWELVE year old Lexus... who cares? Get another, or a newer one with the cheque insurance cuts you... *as a down payment of course.
LOL. Quoted for truth.

What they should have done with the SD was give the full Supra 2Jz (TT).. now thats a limited model and truly a sports design car.. C'mon the SD body isn't any different with some Badges and maybe a couple of nicer interior options. Personally, I'll take a GS430 over an SD any day, who cares about SD except maybe for Saddle interior..

Great idea! As much as I love my GS300, it could use more power. But it was too mint to pass up despite me deep down wanting a 430. Still a great car. Can only imagine it with the Supra twin turbo engine, wow!

Haha the Japanese keep the good cars to themselves, which is too bad because if the gs had been released stock with the 2jzgte like it was in japan it could've blown the 5 series out of the water. (A lot of the old reviews I've read had the 5 series above the GS)

I love the SD models. I wouldn't go 300 over 430 though... But that saddle interior is irresistable!!!! I would love to transform the insides of my 430 to that color... But I wouldn't know where to start... So I'll just save up for another GS.... ...

I'm saving up for another GS or maybe a LS someday. In the meantime, I'll drive my 02 GS300 for a decade. Should be easy since only have 89k and drive 10k per year.

That sounds like reasonable plan bro!! I'm positive it can be pulled off with the GS!!!

Buddy of mine has GS400 with Ridiculous low miles. I'm thinking of picking it up. (I always like how smooth and powerful they drive better than my '12 IS350 and his car is like over 10 years older than mine..

Amen to that!! I gotta 430 and I LOVE the way that badboy runs... That V8 power feels really good. Currently in the shop getting everything possible fixed on the exhaust. As I do want my investment to last me long. So I went all out on my badboy.. I hope everything goes smooth that's all. I'm sure GS300s are just as good. They're a reliable model PERIOD. My father got one with 160k + miles and its still running great. Still looking the same til today... GREAT QUALITY CARS...

Haha, thanks! I certainly hope so. Just using it to commute to work each day which is less than 10 miles. Love the styling and while I sometimes wish I had more power, it would probably just get me in trouble

That 430 is what your looking for then bro.... Oh that has gotten me into pLenty trouble but hey! It comes with the territory. It's a hell of a machine. I drove the 300 as well. My dad gotta 03' and they feel different for some reason. Not just power wise, kind of suspension wise too. 300 feels a bit more stiff may I say. But they both were extremely similar as well. They are bros

Yeah, in a perfect world I would have went with the 430. But they are harder to find and I couldn't pass up a low mileage, mint 300. If I ever run across a comparable 430, I would most likely buy it and sell the 300. Great cars either way :-)
