Ive seen inquiries about this problem before...could be a boatload of possible things for example broken motor mounts, lower control arm bushings, swaybar end links and bushings....etc etc. i believe i saw this on an acura forum when i was interested in a tl...pssht what was i thinking anyways i rem the problem being consistent with happening only when going over bumps and potholes...good luck with the fix

Strut mount is likely source. I have actually had a situation where one of the mounting bolts for the front brake caliper back out and cause the rattling.

Preaching to the choir man. It can be many, many things causing that clunk. Replace all of your suspension pieces that are considered a "wear item" and then check back

I had a rattling noise but it was almost all of the time, turned out to be a loose heat shield, lexus took it off for free

Maybe the trim on the inside connected to the moonroof, the instrument cluster bezel, or if you had the windshield replaced it could be the guide clips under the leaf shield behind the wipers. Good luck.
