Ook this is what a little google time turned up:

Toyota Dot 3 Brake fluid. I've also seen other sites recommend 5.1 but I don't know if that's ok or not (of course you don't want to mix anything).

I'm using the Castrol GT LMA. It's for DOT3 & DOT4. Works fine, it's been over 2 years already.

I am not too sure but sounds more like there is a small leak, you should take it to another workshop if you can't seem to find the exact problem or solution to it.
