Bad shifter solenoid maybe, when's the last time u changed the tranny fluid?

keys not coming out usually means the shfiter is not all the way in park. Can mean bad solenoid. I mean if you can force it back into park fully you can get your keys out but the locking mechanism is not releasing the key

You probably just didn't put it back together correctly and it's out of alignment so, the safety interlock won't release the key.

I think you need to re-check your work and read the manual on how the interlock works.

http://www.lexussouthatlantaparts.co...524030020.html. If your tranny fluid is DIRTY I can guarantee u that's probably your problem, take the cheapest route first, check all your connections and wires before buying a new solenoid, they aren't cheap...
