I'm looking at a buying a Sport design, but it has wood trim that I am not particularly fond of. Is it gonna be a small fortune to get all the pieces (door trim, steering wheel, ashtray, radio bezel etc)? And is that even for sale. The only thing I found on ebay were the shifter and the ash tray. Ash tray was about $300... Thanks!

Yes & Yes. The Blackwood only came in the 02 SD's and was an option in Japan on the V300. You will need a USDM center console and ashtray a JDM one will not work. You can get the door trim, shift **** from a US or J-spec.

go by your local custom tint shop...one that smokes lights with film...they can wrap over the woodgrain with dark smoke Oracal, which will black it out...how I made the Black Chrome Trunk Garnish on my mom's SD
