Your ever so slightly warp on that rotor is exactly the problem. That slight warp is always in constant contact with your pads with pressure because of that warp. Hence, that side is unusually hotter than the other side. It may not seem bad to you, but if you don't change them it will still be sticky, unusually hotter, and pads will wear out faster on that warped side.

So I changed the calipers and the passenger side still moves much less freely then the driver and the mechanic said its because of the ABS since the car is in the air. Is this true?

Update: even though spinning the wheel is almost the same the car seems to coast much better and I have to press the gas alot less now and it's smoother. So anyone who has over 100k and didnt replace their calipers I suggest you do so!

Lmao that's a good one! But seriously I know it's not a bicycle but why are you saying dust is what causes that? That makes absolutely no sense. And why would a 2014 wheel spin freely? But my 01 can't? I'm sure if it was "normal" new cars would do this too. It's not normal unless its like that when new and it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE in how the car drives wen there's no resistance on the wheels. So what does a 2014 have that mine doesn't that allows the wheels to spin more freely ?

The only reason I can see why an older wheel wouldn't spin as freely would be worn bearings. If the brakes are off and it still spins slow, that's about the only thing that I can think of, directly related to friction and the axle/spindle. In any case, if now you drive around and don't notice one side heating up as much as the other, it might be OK.

And just a little tidbit, not sure how it relates to the GS4, but on my '91 Land Cruiser the wheel bearings are conical in shape, so when they're set right (with preload using hand tightened hub lock nuts), it actually takes a bit of force to spin the wheel, but nothing too crazy, and they definitely don't spin like a bicycle.
