Default GPS Antenna Location ?

Just moved to Florida and getting the windows tinted, the film they are using is metalized so the installer and I are trying to find the GPS antenna to determine if we can tint the back window

I did a search but only found something about the LS having it in the back window...

This is a 2004 GS430

Thanks!!

Mike

I'm more shocked that you still use the factory GPS!

You'd be surprised, I had newer lexus cars, and i like this version of the older Nav much better. Simplistic but works great especially when i just upgraded my map disc to ver 12.1

i know it's old tech but the screen is big and very easy to use, next is upgrade the map, it still on the original from 2003

Any good places to get a new cd/dvd ? or is the dealer my only option ?

Yep, they just released 2013 map - can get from Sewell Lexus -- http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2005/6533.html

Register with your Club Lexus Screen name, and you get a Discounted Price.

I'm still rocking factory navi. Works good and is completely up to date. And I don't have to worry about scumbags breaking my windows to get an easy to remove aftermarket unit out.

It's on top of the rear deck next to the Subwoofer. You can see the instructions on accessing the subwoofer HERE.
