Cool Radio Disp

Actually...... the led's came from hing king. The ones in the link is andhesive strip that use as it is in form. The ones I had ordered, were actually cell phone LED's... and then added the resistor/capacitors for voltage regulation. It was a lot of work, and unfortunately, not able to do those at this point in time. However, if I have some time in the near future, I will surely post again on this. As for a write up, I would but not sure I should given that this is very technical and therefore would hate to see people try and end up burning out their radios... But you never know... I am always messing my GS. I think I know it better than my woman??? hahahahahhahaa

Rock

Thanks for all the props though.... I appreciate it.

can any of these bulbs be used? instead of going through all those resistors and things like that?

Ive used the T1.5 Twist lock bulb with my LS climate control before.

ive kind of skimmed through this thread, and i thought i knew what I was doing but now at the end of it I realized I dont have the slightest clue what to do. I could get take the dash apart n my pops is an electrician so this job is definately doable, just not sure which bulbs are the best for this job if someone could shed some light on this that would be great

I know this is an old thread but shouts out to Rockero28 for being ahead of the curve I just bought an 03 GS300 but I've been working on cars a long time and lights are my thing so if any late bloomers that look t this thread and I see a lot of the same questions so here are some answers to help u do this mode to ur Lexus
Led replacements are now availble for cheap on ebay
The # of the bulb for the Glove Box Lighter key ring shifter and under dash is a 94 wedge led
For the 4 buttons on the center council they are NEO Wedges T3 and T4 this is also the same for the power mirror button and fo the radio and climate controls its either a T3 or T4 for the most part except for the display I'm pretty sure those require some soldering skills to swich out all the rest are pretty easy as for the door lights I haven't changed them but I belive some sodering will be needed there too small led are availble on ebay ill try to post some step by step pics

So which is it, t3 or t4? I need to replace just about every single bulb in the center of my car
