Exclamation Driver's Side A/C Vents Suddenly Stop Blowing Cold Air on a 1999 GS 300

Hello all,
I've been researching A/C problems on the 2nd gen GS and my problem appears to be a little different. Not to long ago, my driver's side A/C vents suddenly stopped blowing cold air. Normally, A/C systems fail by gradually blowing hotter, but mine literally failed overnight. My mother took it out for the night and when I used it the next morning my side was out. Could she have messed with some buttons or did it just happen to break then? Car tends to develop problems when she takes it out. Spark plug pops out, tranny starts missing shifts, and now this. Any ideas/suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the servo for your side is broken? Not 100% sure but sounds like that

Sounds like the servo motor for the driver's side has seized up. Replace it and you'll be back to normal.

Okay thanks for the help guys! Any ideas on where I can get this part for a good price and any links for a DIY for this job? Or is it one where I need to take it to an A/C specialist?

Quit looking to be spoon fed and SEARCH!! If you search servo issues on this site or even a Google search using DIY Servo, you will find plenty of information. Or if that's too much for you to do, scroll down a couple of threads and you will see EXACTLY wht you are looking for.
