Default Radio not working even after changing fuse

My interior lights went out along with my radio. Changed the radio #2 fuse and everything went back to normal except that the radio still does not work. Is there a radio #1 fuse somewhere?

It usually a good idea to remind people in your posts of the year and model you are referring to.

Do you know what caused the fuse to blow? Perhaps the radio was the cause of the issue an that is why it is not powering on.

Its a 98 GS400, the radio #2 fuse blew when I was upgrading to LEDs in the interior. In the dome lamp I slipped and hit the metal plate and that's when it blew. I Changed out the fuse and everything went back to normal except the radio.

I would start by pulling the radio and making sure the harness is delivering power and ground.

i would check the fuses again. that happened to me once before and after i replaced the fuse, it blew right then and there again. it's better for you to check all the fuses under your hood and driver and passenger kick panel fuse boxes regarding the radio. and make sure you're replacing it with the correct power fuse and not lesser or more. also as Debonair stated, make sure your connections are fully plugged. good luck.
