Stereo in the glove box - complete
Hi everybody,
Just wanted to post that I finally finished my stereo install on my 2002 GS300. I installed all new speakers and head unit, with a stealth mod to keep my Lex from getting broken into.
The OEM stereo and GPS are left intact, but the OEM stereo is no longer attached. Now I have a new head unit inside my glove box, so that when I leave the car, I can close it, and it looks like there is no custom stereo.
For my new system, I used:
- Pioneer DEH-P7400 HU with remote control
- DLS UP6 component speakers powered by a JL Audio 2v2 300W amp
- Soundsplinter RL-P12 subwoofer powered by an alpine PDX-F6 600W amp
- Big 5 and all power wires done in 0 gauge
