Default Best place to go through firewall?

Looking to install a laser deflection kit which requires me to go through firewall... I searched and saw theres a place behind battery where theres a gromet to the back of the glovebox but is there one on the drivers side just as easy?

with pics would be great...

Here's pics from one of Jeff Tsai's build threads:


Remove that fuse box via the two bolts and you will find the wires and grommet on the firewall.

This is where it comes through under dash, just above fuse panel (next to e-brake pedal):
