Default Hand brake conversion options (no hydraulic)

Are there any parts from another vehicle that can be installed that looks clean? Im more focused on the interior part of this right now(rear caliper/drum/cables ill worry about later). So as far as center console, boot and the actual handle itself. Has anybody done or seen a clean install?

Again not looking for a hydraulic setup.

seeing as the gs never came manual. there is most likely no option for a cable ebrake setup. your best bet is going to be a hydro setup. if you trying to have it as apart of th center console then you will have to do some sort of custom center console

If you look on Yahoo Auctions Japan you will see a few people advertise a service from what it looks like to do this on 5spd swapped cars.

It appears they use an SC/Soarer handbrake assembly, weld 2 brackets on the trans tunnel to mount it, then pull the center console off, weld a small base in there to mount the cables, and then run it to the handbrake.

not sure if you’re still interested as I’m looking into this myself, there’s a shop called heat lighting that sells and sc300 handbrake conversion bracket, not sure if you use the sc cable or if you just take the old gs one

Oh wow that's really cool thanks for sharing
Hopefully they will make something bolt in for the Aristo too, I see they already have a clutch pedal kit for both GS and Aristo
