gs400 front Driver side caliper
I have a 98 GS4 That I bought as a daily driver. One day The car just started driving like *****. I couldn't go pass 45-55 MPH without the steering shaking. It felt like the tires were coming off the car. At one point I was smelling burnt brakes. After doing some research, I am almost positive it is the caliper that is *****ng up. (front driver side caliper by the way)
So here are my questions:
Does a 2001-2005 caliper fit my 98 GS400?
Does a GS300/GS430 caliper fit my 98 GS400?
Has anybody had this problem before? how did you fix it?
Thank you fellas.

Usually you will be able to look at the brake rotor and see some serious discoloration if you have a stuck caliper. You may want to bleed the brakes first to make sure its not just air in the system.
Yes and yes.
Yup, if you search the 2GS forum for "Stuck Caliper" and other similar words you will find many results.
IF it does end up being the caliper you can either rebuild the caliper or replace it .
