jags look super awesome but the other guy is right. they are built very poorly and older models are very seldomly on the road today. heck i see maybe one jag on the road once every two months.
kinda like late 90's early 2000's Audi's/BMW's; very nice cars when fixed up, but have very annoying and costly electrical and smog equipmemt problems. : /

^Older benz like 80s benz. Then the e class from like 00-02. CLKs from 98-02 were relatively good, but besides that most older mercs will be pretty troublesome. Avoid s-classes from 92-03 i think the years were. 92-99 weren't bad but but they had issues, the 2000 sclass is known to be awful. This is based of what i have seen and heard from many mercedes owners. I was a mercedes kid growing up then chrysler took over...

Thanks for the input!...I have been debating on doing a benze lately...and it would have been the 2000ish S Class lol..I love the styling but I did hear that they were bad lol...I guess ill stick to the GS for now haha

All German cars leak everything from everywhere. Mercedes S class sedans, you WILL have ABC/suspension issues. Audi's will have transmission issues from the late 90's to mid 2000's. Jags actually improved believe it or not when they were taken over by Ford, but still have electrical and transmission issues. BMW's are quirky, different issues for different models/years. Most Germans will have more sensor failures vs Japanese for whatever reason. Most of the problems these cars have luckily have proven fixes all over the net, its just a matter of knowing what to fix and/or diagnosing the issues properly.

When they work, they work beautifully and are some of the most enjoyable cars to drive (German).

You just have to be a better than average DIY'er to keep them going or know a good/affordable Indy.
