Full tune up ... meaning?

And I probably haven't ... what should I do to it? I would really like to make sure it's performing at it's best! Anyone ever put an exhaust or intake on one? I would love to have a deeper sound from the exhaust or ad some HP with something like cold air intake ... maybe I'm talking out my rear though lol.

An exhaust on a GS!? Nahhhhhh......lol , most of us do, I have Borla and a k&n Cold air intake, others also delete the stock exhaust... As for the tune up, spark plugs, wires, oil change, tranny fluid changed, clean maf sensor and throttle body.....that's a good start.. Theirs a ton of do it yourselfs on here, if u need some help just ask, lots of members are more than willing to help out. Their is also some different exhaust clip sounds in the stickies, maybe your find one u like in there...

Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, VC gasket, and ect........
I have a 2002 GS430 as well and I just did a major tune up. Took me about 11 hours non stop to finish it up. After a tune up man the can runs ten times better and better idle.

Geez, I felt dumb for a second ... that's a relief though. My brother has a BMW M5 and the sound alone makes me jealous so I'll definitely be looking into it. I would like to know more about my car, the engine, how everything works together, etc ... just never spent much time, or had the time to spend, I'm trying to change that!! BTW, what do you mean by delete the exhaust?

lol ... no sir, not getting those. I have some 16s for an SC230 though. If I can't find a buyer on Craigslist soon, I'll probably just give them to someone on here in that trader section or whatever it is.

First off its your car so do what ever you like. In my opinion a stock bodied Gs flows best with 19's. 18's are a little too small and seem to get swallowed up by the big body of the Gs. Anything over 19's begs for a body kit. If you are set on running Dub size wheels I recommend a big body kit.

Honestly, everything was fine until last year when the front passenger side tire blew out on the highway, it basically destroyed the wheel and tire ... fast forward a few months and I've got everything back together and on but the car really hasn't been the same since. I'm beginning to think I may need to wash my hands of it and start over, either with this car by getting rid of the big wheels or by just getting a new car....decisions decisions.

I need to get back to work watering my money tree too ...

Wish you were closer so I can figure out the problem. I'm bagged and lay out on 22's and have no rubbing issues at all...

What's up man did you ever get the rubbing issue fixed? You said you where going to get it raised up. One day if you want I can help you look at it to see if we can figure it out. It could be a sagging suspension part or anything. Have you replaced the suspension parts?

I wish I knew too ... when I first got the 22s back on it, the front passenger side tire was rubbing against something. I had it checked out and one shop suggested spacers, I bought 1/2" spacers, tried to put them on but didn't have enough stud left to get the wheel back on ... so took it to another shop, they just raised the suspension in the front 1 inch, solved the problem. I still had some issues with my turning radius but I solved that with cutting out the plastic stuff in the wheel wells, the fenders basically.

I can try to take the wheel off and get some pics.
