Bought this woodgrain wheel..what airbag do I need?
I bought this 01+ JDM woodgrain wheel and have read mixed opinions on what airbag is needed. Its for an 01+ but is going in my 98. Ive read the 01 single stage RX airbag was needed and i also have read that an 01+ two stage 2gs bag was the correct one....also does anyone know how to remove and install the tiptronic buttons? Thanks

i think the answer is a 2001+ Rx single stage bag (if this fits) OR get a 2001+ Gs bag and swap your bag into it if its not single stage. there have long been arguments as all 2001+ got dual stage but we didnt. i have a single stage bag in my car, i think it was determined by when in 2001 your car was built
BTW dont buy JZsinternational, Taba is a crook

yeah i have been hearing some behind the scenes stories about how your car was going but i havent seen anything from you
i think the answer is a 2001+ Rx single stage bag (if this fits) OR get a 2001+ Gs bag and swap your bag into it if its not single stage. there have long been arguments as all 2001+ got dual stage but we didnt. i have a single stage bag in my car, i think it was determined by when in 2001 your car was built

Lastly its too late and I already have the wheel from JZsinternational and honsetly its pretty awesome
What makes you say hes a crook??Anyone have any knowledge on swapping the buttons over or heard of it being done? Thanks

^^This is the main reason why I never purchased the wheel because I don't think it's possible to switch over the shift buttons. It's odd that it's said that he is a crook because that company is all over this site and not once has it been mentioned that he is a crook. Why is he a crook? Examples?? Def won't use now. I think that I"m just going to have to buy a black SD wheel and change the leather to tan.

Yeah its been alot of work so I havent been posting much but itll be ready any day and I'll put some nice stuff up
