I had to trace down same codes. After reading this, got myself this VSV -
Part number: 9091012224 for $68 shipped.

I had shop install it since its too cold to be under the car now. The old one happened to be in working order....

After that, I decided to get serious. My car has 3 of this VSVs: 2 under the hood and on in the back.

I should have started under the hood, since VSVs are very easy to access:
Remove engine cover and one on the right is on top of the engine just staring at you. The other, just trace the vacuum tube.

I just unplugged them and used 8.4V R/C Car battery to test them. One clicked, one did not. My issue happened to be one on the top-right of the engine. Part Number: 25860-50100 $49.95 shipped.

And yes, Alexadria Lexus wanted to sell me the entire charcoal canister for $900.

The rear sensor they quoted for $109. Do yourselves a favor and use google before buying anything from local stealerships.

It hasn't been a month, but I have driven 600+ miles with no p0440 code. I'm confident that code is not coming back.

Good to know. Thanks man. I'll be checking back with you after another month has passed. These codes can take a while to pop up since it happens in cycles.

Does anyone have the hose diagram for the evap system. I was trying to do the DIY to change part # 90910-12271, however, I saw a loose hose and an open end pipe coming from the front of the car running along the right (passenger) side. I tried fitting the loose hose to the pipe and it fits perfectly. There were no signs of a hose clamp though so I am a bit skeptical about connecting the loose hose to the open end pipe.

Can anyone help me with this?

So it turns out that the hose should be connected to the pipe. I found this diagram showing the full layout of the EVAP system. In my case the hose got disconnected from the Air Inlet Line that is coming from the air cleaner under the hood. I have since reconnected the hose, sprayed the whole thing with WD40, cleared the codes(P0441 & P0446) and have done over 30 miles of driving. The CEL light has remained off and and all systems monitor are now showing ready. Hopefully the codes do not retrun.

ME TOO. I'm going to replace VSV(s) first. Check hoses underhood as well. Then O2 sensors. Also check exhaust connections around/near cat for leaks.

I've got the same codes that you guys have, however beforehand I was using a fouler for my O2 sensors because of the CAT code.

I am assuming my CATS are the issue and not my EVAP VCV technically.

Just want an opinion, should I replace my main header CATS or replace the EVAP components.

I have the code P0446, the smog guy told me it's the EVAP and to replace the gas cap also. I've replaced the gas cap, the shop replaced the EVAP, code P0446 came back on........ what a pain. I've looked around the air filter to see if something came undone base on what I've been reading, nothing is loose, code is still there.

I recently had this code as well. Is it possible that worn engine mounts are causing a hose to come loose and triggering this code? Just throwing this out there.

My P0446 was solved by replacing the VSV on the charcoal canister and the other under the hood.

Made the code go off permanently...been about 5000 miles with no issues

Ugh, I have this code now. I replaced the cap already since that was easiest but no go. I checked the hoses that go into and out of the intake and they are all solid but havent really looked any further under the hood. These diagrams from before are all from the 1UZ, where is the VSV on the 2JZ under the hood? I then got underneath the car and tried to get to the canister but wow, its really tucked up there, how did you guys get this done??
