What did you do to your GS today?

I replaced the radio display in my '00 GS300. Ordered the part from Pioneer a few months ago but finally had the time to finish the job. One downside is that the new display didn't have the connector soldered onto the board. I had to de-solder the connector from my old display and re-solder to make everything work. Luckily I had the right tools on hand to get it done. New display looks great.

my car has sat since i got it washed on Saturday to get the salt and crap off it... and of course after washing it Saturday, it snowed Sunday night and yesterday... so i'm leaving her home and taking the GX to try and extend my clean carness as long as possible...

New display assembly was $130.
I really like the way the stock head unit looks in the dash. I'm happy with the way the system sounds and I already have a bluetooth module overriding the amp for phone calls and music. I figured it was $130 to fix the display or I would need to buy a new head unit and an amp then install it all.

Installed K&N cold air intake. I tried to do the differential fluid change and sparkplugs but the rain ruined it. Supercharged buick is in the garage being worked on as well so I was having to do it outside. I should of known better because I also washed my car. I bring rain every single time I wash it I swear. Next nice weather day sparkplugs, differential fluid and starting my transmission fluid cycle.
Question though..why would someone do this? Got the car this way. I hate that the engine cover was missing. I thought it might of hooked up to the cover but I don't think that's the case. I'm new to toyota/lexus. Always had a honda, mitsu or a mazda. I saw the sticker under the hood for the vacuum lines but had to quit working due to rain. Was searching around to see if it's a bypass or mod but clueless atm. Guess I'll look more into it tomorrow if weather will let me get started again.
I apologize in advance if this question shouldn't be asked here. New to the boards. Also, I'm just limited on time to work on the car as my other car is down. My GS400 is my current daily transportation. My Accord (was daily car) also needs work too. Too many cars to work on and no time.

a few months back I was experiencing a low rpms at lights, I thought it was vaccum hoses, so I replaced all of them. The problem cleared up, but came back after a while. Just recently, I had a misfire, pulled the code and it was 0301, after reading a lot on the forum, all of them fixed the problem by replacing the ignition coils. To make a long story short. My coils came in today from rockauto (Denso $73 each x 3), and I replaced all three of them. It took me a little over an hour. Glad I didn't pay anyone to do it.

How do you like your headlights? I recently got a set and I was surprised with the quality being that they were eBay lights. The cutoff isn't quite what I want but I just plan on putting new projectors in the housings.

Front and rear brakes - Rotors and Pads - and painted calipers and brackets
After putting em together, I noticed I wasn't paying attention to slot direction lol... will have to swap the rears (or fronts... vanes are not directional, so just a matter of preference for looks)

I'm really surprised how good they are best HID set up on any car I've owned. The angel eye rings are bright and the build quality of the lamp is generally quite good.
Since we both have Millennium Silver, here's what my rear looks like with just the L emblem on the back
