As I explained in other threads, I got my GS back from my wife about 2 months ago, (after buying her a GX470) The weather is finally relaxing, and so it all starts.
I took out the sub-woofer, used 'subwoofer fix kit', and re foamed the torn area.
Followed this link and it was all good: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...nt-w-pics.html
Few things left to do, before I do any 'FUN' modifications.
(door lock fix, aux/bluetooth install)
IMO the stock subwoofer stinks. That was the first mod I did on my GS3 - upgrade the entire sound system incl double din head unit with all the bells and whistles like DVD, Nav, Bluetooth etc ! I installed a Rockford Fosgate 10 inch sub and 500 RMS mono amp, and a seperate amp for the 6.5 inch door speakers and tweeters.
Removed and cleaned the throttle body on my GS4. Removing it first is way better than just spraying carb cleaner into it. It was really dirty on the back side. Poured in a can of Chevron FI cleaner, too.
She idled well before, but is smooth as butter now.
