Took the gs to the shop getting valve cover gasket and tranny pan gasket replaced... Also getting grill frame and inner tails painted black.. Should have it back on Monday...
New Tires put on, also found out i need a new ball joint ($300) i need an alignment ($100) check engine light one (charcoal canister $??). Things escalated quickly
$300 is a rip off for a new balljoint if it's the lower one. MOOG is only $35 at Amazon + 1 hour labor to install. A shop quoted me $300 to replace both and do an alignment.
^ It was the dealer, so an alignment and a single lower ball joint would have been $450 with taxes. I almost had them do it just to get it done and over with until i realized that i could get it done for so much cheaper
4-wheel alignment , check all suspension and steering parts for a weak , check tire pressure and condition , adjust the custer , camber . few days ago was checking my exhaust - have some leak in y-pipe need to be replaced
