What did you do to your GS today?

Continued the restoration of my 99 GS400 by swapping out a weak belt tensioner, Transmission Mount, that I did myself and motor mount which I paid a friend to do.
Holy cow what a huge difference in refinement !!!! Prior to replacing the parts the car ran very well. Some slight vibration at idle as if I needed a tune up but nothing to be concered about. I did have the delayed acceleration issue on a few occassions when I punched it, but I thought that was normal.
After the fix the car accelerates more much smoother and no longer has the rough downshift into a lower gears when I punch it (Like a neutral rev then drop into drive). ZERO vibration at Idle and it feels like it has more powa!
I know this has been said before, If you have over 100K miles just change out your motor and transmission mount. I used oem ones from Sewell Lexus. The motor mounts appeared to look OK but when they were out I could easily split them in half.

Thank's for this information........and no problem with this size ( tires touching somewhere, even if you drive on a bump) ?
I want to put 18" wheels on my car, but I don't know for the tires ( 225/45R18 or 245/40R18) ??
Enjoy to read you,
Regards, Joseph.
