Default Finally got to shavin the rears

Nothing fancy..Only got the rear's done for now. Fronts will be done this week hopefully.

Looks good. Did you weld the walls back together? Be sure to seal it otherwise you may run into rust issues down the road.

No I haven't yet. Didn't have time to run to the store today. I will tmr. What do you consider using to seal it with ?

and not I didnt have it welded. I was thinking using some kind of seal just to protect it from rusting then maybe i'd be fine ?

Very nice. What tires are you using? Im gonna be running 19x10.5+26 with a 245/35 and im curious as to how stretched yours look.

I was originally planning on getting the Achilles like everyone else but it was on back order. I went with Falken 452..You can look on my instagram (gs3rick) of a up close picture of the stretch. Its about a perfect amount of stretch. Nothing too crazy or too little. Exactly what I was looking for.

245/35 is pretty much just a curved sidewall on a 10.5 not alot of stretch but enough to clear your rear with those specs and have some lip protection. I wouldn't go any bigger.

Well you want to weld the walls back together then grind welds smooth to prevent any jagged edges from cutting the tires. Then you can either prime and paint to prevent the rusting of use like a undercoating (like the same stuff they pray under the car to prep for bad winters)
