Default New polk speakers installed! PICS

I just got done upgrading my speakers to 6.5 coaxial In the rear and 6.5 component up front. I used speaker adapters made by a company in Florida, www.car-speaker-adapters.com. A bead of silicone is behind each PVC adapter. Very easy to instal. It sounds way better than stock speakers. Let me know what you think.

Rear speakers.

Did you replace the factory amp also or does it all work well even with factory amp?

I may upgrade my door speakers now if that's the case. Not planning to do an actual audio upgrade till later down the road but I could prolly knockout the door panel speakers easy.

I'm running it all off the factory amp which seems to power them quite well. I'm going to put a pioneer double din head unit in next.

Hmm maybe I should go ahead and look into doing this then, LOL. Add a bit more bass to my system.

nice install. i'm also surprised how clean the factory amp is pushing all my stuff. i just got rid of the factory sub and ran the high wires into an amp for more thump. and it's all round clean as hek to me.

Nice install. Something I'll have to look into with my RX eventually. Do you think the stock speakers have any value??

Hm... really this can be powered off factory amp?? last time I was researching the oem amp gives off weird ohms, like 8 ohms or something, so you can't just slap a speaker on.

with a Pioneer DDIN, aftermarket speakers should be just fine (DDIN has its own amp, i used the HU amp to power my stock speakers) sounds a lot better than the OEM amp
