Finally somone who actually took the time to SEARCH before posting. We have some members who have been here for months or even years and still ask the same questions that SEARCH would've answered immediatelyh. Great choice in parts and Great car...but it will never be a classic like a 96 Impala. I have one too. The only car that over 15 years old and you can STILL get $10k or more based on the condition and mileage!

thank you very much for all the kind words...I'll post more pix of the car when done.

the wheels are 19x8.5 up front and 19x9.5 in the back

wont lie the 96 impala is going to be a classic but it was built like **** especially inside...only thing i miss is the torque otherwise i think the lexus is a much better built and comfortable car.

and yeah never understood why people dont use SEARCH before posting but thats just me.

You are comparing apples to watermelons lol. 1996 car vs. a car that used to be worth $50k with modern technology. Heck, the Imp doesn't even come with a cd player lol. Even though our car is 2 generations behind, our model doesn't look dated ONE BIT and easily could've continued a few more years before the 3rd gen came out. That's why I bout my 2 gen almost two years ago. The "bubble eye" Lex has always been my fav. The 4th gen sucks to me and it will def. have to grow on me.

Good choice. I just got a gs 4 days ago for the exact same reason. Mine is a gold 98. What's in the box besides the ball joints?
